Landscape Painting Class - 6 week session - September 19th-October 24th

To paint “En Plein Air” is to paint outside. This practice was developed in the early 19th century when artists took to the great outdoors to find their subject matter. As we’re all well aware, Siskiyou county is full of natural beauty! Our goal with this class is to give students the skills to go outside and paint on their own accord, and to capture the scenery as they see it.
In The Landscape Painting Class students will receive one on one, in studio instruction, to develop their landscape painting skills. This class will focus primarily on art fundamentals and technical knowledge with a little bit of art history. Best of all, no painting experience is required!
